Bucks County House Arrest

House Arrest is an alternative to jail. Admittance to the Bucks County House Arrest Program is a privilege. If you are admitted to House Arrest in Bucks County you are considered an inmate in the Bucks County Prison System.

There are many specific qualifications required for selection to the Bucks County House Arrest Program. First and foremost, you must have an established local Bucks County residence. If you do not reside in or cannot quickly establish a residence in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, you will not be eligible for Bucks County House Arrest.

In addition to proving residency in Bucks County, you must also go through a House Arrest interview process. Caterina Saile, Esq. of Saile & Saile, LLP is an experienced Buck County DUI lawyer who can prepare you for your Bucks County House Arrest interview and assist you with the House Arrest procedure.

If you qualify for the Bucks County House Arrest Program, you must then be approved by the Bucks County Common Pleas Court judge at the time of your sentencing. That Bucks County Common Pleas Court judge determines whether you can be trusted to be placed in the Bucks County House Arrest Program. If you have a violent criminal history or if the Bucks County Common Pleas Court judge believes you may be a “flight” risk, you may be denied entry into the Bucks County House Arrest Program.

Caterina Saile, Esq. can advise and represent you when you are applying for House Arrest. Many unrepresented Bucks County DUI defendants go directly to jail because they did not retain the services of experienced, local Bucks County DUI lawyers, such as Saile & Saile, LLP.

It is important to note that the Bucks County House Arrest Program is not free. The program’s monitoring fee is currently approximately $10 dollars per day.
