District Justice Court
If you are charged with DUI (driving under the influence) or any criminal offense in Bucks County, Pennsylvania you must make two separate court appearances. At the first, your Preliminary Hearing, you will appear at the Bucks County District Justice Court in the location where the DUI or Criminal offense occurred. After your Bucks County Preliminary Hearing, the case will be transferred to the Bucks County Common Pleas Court in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. You will have your Arraignment, Motions, and Trial in the Bucks County Common Pleas Court.
