Second Six Points
If the Bucks County driver’s record is reduced to below 6 points, but then for a second time reaches 6 or more points, the driver must attend a Departmental Hearing.
A hearing examiner reviews the driver’s record and after the hearing PennDot may:
- Order a 15-day License Suspension
- Order the driver to take a special On-Road Driver’s Examination or
- Take No Action
If a Bucks County driver’s privilege is suspended or a special driver’s exam is recommended, 2 points will be removed from the driving record if the exam is passed within 30 days or once the 15-day suspension has been served. Failure to attend this Departmental Hearing will result in a 60-day license suspension to the Bucks County driver.
If you have received your second accumulation of six points on your PA driving record or are close to it, retain Michael L. Saile, Jr., Esq. to defend you in the local Bucks County District Justice Court.
