Bucks DUI Research
The Bucks County District Attorney’s office is known for being strict on Drunk Driving (DUI) charges. You may think you are eligible for the Bucks County Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program, when at the last minute or the day of your Bucks County DUI trial you find out you are ineligible for the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program.

Bucks County DUI cases are not assigned to a specific Bucks County District Attorney until about a week or two before your Bucks County DUI trial. A couple days before your Bucks County DUI trial, a Bucks County prosecutor will review your case. At this point, the Bucks County District Attorney will decide whether you are eligible for the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program.

To be eligible for the Bucks County Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program you should prepare and file a Bucks County ARD Application with the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) Unit of the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.

The law firm of Saile & Saile LLP will help you determine whether you will be eligible for the Bucks County Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program.  Pennsylvania criminal and DUI-drunk driving law permits each county to establish its own Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program.  This means that you may be eligible in one county in Pennsylvania, but not another.   It takes an experienced and local Bucks County DUI-drunk driving lawyer such as Michael L. Saile, Jr., Esq. to give you an informed opinion as to your chances of getting into the first offender’s program.

The Bucks County District Attorney has the full legal authority under the Pennsylvania DUI law to determine which Bucks County Drunk Driving (DUI) cases will be admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program.

Do not assume that because it is your first DUI, whether in Pennsylvania or not, that you will be admitted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program. There are many types of cases that will be denied from the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program.
